It has been a long road to our latest stable release. We are happy to introduce some long-awaited features, stunning visual elements, and more realistic simulations of various Aneo systems. The team at FlyByWire Simulations made an excellent appearance during FSWeekend last week and the team brought with them some goodies for visitors to see. Alongside a mountain of stickers, the team also showcased the AX for the first time. Whilst announced a while ago , the team has been working tirelessly to bring the aircraft to Microsoft Flight Simulator. However, a new preview video of the aircraft in action has been shared on YouTube. During the minute video , we see, for the first time, footage of the AX in action. Members of the team hop in and out of the Discord stream to showcase the aircraft and add commentary on how development is going. The cockpit itself has come a long way, with plenty of animations already functional inside the huge Airbus jet. Avionics and systems are still very much a work in progress, but the collective group of developers is giving it their all to bring the A to life.

In the minute video, we saw the team start up the APU, complete engine checks and begin taxiing. We saw onboard airport maps with taxiway information, data inputted into the MCDU and saw the full routing in the display. Furthermore, the displays also showcased things such as cabin door status, engines and temperature.
