I have crafted a campfire with sticks and fire wood sticks and bark and have not been able to light it with a lighter,, matches and a hand drill kit that I've crafted. DayZ is a survival sim which is no light task. If you don't manage to set up camp in time you can succumb to a range of things, primarily zombie attacks!

You can light a fire under a tree in heavy rain or simply wear a rain coat to avoid getting wet. When something gets stuck in a crate I sign off and back on with the crate in my hands and this normally fixes the issue. Dobt know why you had to look around for it.
