One person has died after a shooting in Springfield Township on Friday afternoon, the Springfield Township Police Department confirmed. According to police, officers were dispatched to the corner of Cottonwood Drive and Hempstead Drive for a report of a person shot just before 2 p. Upon arrival, officers on scene located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. Police said the man was transported to University of Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
