In February, Wyndham Grand will begin piloting a nationwide family program called Reconnected, a Family Experience , — a program addressing the dire need for quality time over screen time. Reconnected reminds families to slow down and enjoy their time together, and the program includes activities inspired by The Nocturnals , such as building the ultimate fort, using a shadow puppet guide, and more. Fabled Films is pleased to announce the growth of its critically acclaimed series, The Nocturnals , developed and written by film director and author Tracey Hecht and her writing team. The program quickly expanded to over fifty schools and libraries, both domestically and abroad.

Fabled Films Press is looking for a part-time marketing and social media intern to work with our dynamic team. Both properties include books, educational materials, printable activities, virtual programs, and more. Interns will be expected to draw up and track social media campaigns optimized for multiple platforms Facebook, Instagram, Twitter ; track media hits; generate marketing materials social posts, blog posts, flyers ; write pitch letters; research and update database marketing contacts for booksellers, librarians, teachers, bloggers and the media on MailChimp; assist in the distribution of sales materials and assist the marketing team with other day-to-day tasks and organizational needs. Ideal candidates should be familiar with various social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Goodreads, Hootsuite, Linktree. The internship runs from May through September Flexible start and finish dates depending on school schedule. Excellent writing and communication skills; strong attention to detail; ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects; self-starter; strong research skills; familiarity with social media platforms. Previous experience with publishing and content marketing is appreciated, but not required. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in children's books, films, and toys. In conjunction with local NYPL branches, the program will be offered to more than 20 public schools citywide. The book creation process at Fabled Films Press is intrinsically collaborative. I love how collaborative the creative process is and how dynamic our team is. We all believe strongly that great literature can be as social and communal as other entertainment, and we want our books to encourage readers to engage in literature in a similar way they engage in YouTube videos and other screen-based entertainment.
