I have had the car since new and the front tyres were approx 4mm so I arranged for all 4 tyres to be replaced at the Stevenage F1 Autocentres. I took pictures of the wheels just prior to them taking the car in the workshop to fit the tyres and I asked very politely if they could be really careful with the alloys. The tyres were fitted and I asked if I could look at the wheels prior to it coming out of the workshop. Whilst examining the wheels I noticed various marks on the wheels right on the top of the lip under the rim protector. I was told this is lacquer peel from the alloy wheels being diamond cut and water getting behind the lacquer I argued that this is not correct and no such marks were present prior to the tyres being fitted. He is isn't budging on this, unfortunately the pictures I took before the tyres were fitted become grainy when zoomed in.

And its normal to that scratches f1autocenters so and they will not take a f1autocenters as is not visible like outside rim, In nowadays all garages used a plastic tool to remove balances and not damage alloy wheel Just wrote a complain to main manager will never recommend them to any one who's take care about their car, f1autocenters.

Excellent service, very helpful and welcoming staff, lovely waiting area to sit in while waiting. The work completed on my car was fully explained to me. Very good prices, and I will only use formula one for work on my car. I now only use Formula 1 for both my cars! Best service. Friendly staff.

Now I use one local tyre place who are really careful, in fact I would seriously consider going to my local alloy refurbisher to get tyres fitted now. Recommended Communities.
