And really what can you expect from the only moving part in a portable computer? On the PC and Windows Mobile side I got to the point where if it was something that I could not fix myself I would just replace the device vs go through the hassle of trying to get it fixed. I have [accidentally] dropped mine off table tops and barstools, traveled around the world with mine, oh 5 or 6 times and literally NEVER had an issue. Did your MBP have those problems when you got it or over time? Needless to say, the 3 year warranty was worth it, and once it expires I will NEED to have a backup computer on hand. So I guess luck is involved. But, Apple needs to keep up or some other company will blow them away, maybe Palm?

Thankfully it was all covered under AppleCare, but still, not very impressed with the quality for a high-end machine. All issues cleared up.
