In This Post. As mentioned in my previous review from my inbound flights back from South East Asia, I booked my entire journey from Bangkok to Seattle via Dubai in Emirates business class for 87, Aeroplan points. Nevertheless, I made the most of my time there, finishing off some work and partaking in a light breakfast before boarding my flight to Seattle at Gate A21 directly from the lounge. Emirates operates three versions of the ER, with business class spread over two sections at the front of the aircraft. The two-class version has a business class mini-cabin between the main business class cabin and the economy class cabin. In contrast, the three-class versions of the plane have a min-cabin between the main business class cabin and the First Class cabin. This Boeing ER has a refreshed take on the classic Emirates design, with bold gold and wooden inlays and seats inspired by Mercedes-Benz. Solo travellers or couples should opt for the windows, as they have a little more privacy and better views. As I made my way to Seat 11K and took stock of my surroundings, it was clear that these business class seats would be somewhat lacking in terms of the hard product. The seats are inspired by the design and aesthetics of Mercedes-Benz cars, and feature leather upholstery and adjustable headrests. However, while the seats are certainly quite visually appealing, the seat itself lacks storage space and privacy. As I settled in, I took a closer look at the business class seat around me, drawing my attention to the in-flight entertainment screen immediately in front. These inch screens are smaller compared to inch screens offered in First Class.

The seats are packed in with very little width and unreasonably close pitch.

The first aisle twin seat on a is my absolute favorite seat to fly in. Lovely leg room, there is enough space in front around feet. There are 3 versions of this aircraft. Great flight and service. Coach is even good when flying short distances. Seat 17 J is a standard Economy Class Bulkhead seat. The economy config in the aircraft is terrible! Probably one of the most comfortable seats in the plane after the business and first class. There is no floor storage for this seat during take-off and landing. Explore dining, inflight entertainment and seating images. I also sat in 18c on a connecting flight also a great seat. This was our first time travelling with Emirates and we were more than pleased with our seating arrangements and the service given us by the attendants. If you're in an isle seat expect your isle side shoulder and arm to be bumped regularly during the flight by flight attendants, trolleys and other passengers, much more so than on other aircraft.

All your comforts are within reach.

Feels cramped because it is! AVOID this aircraft. This narrow seat should not be allowed especially on long-haul. Aisle seat left of aircraft. The TV screen is in a drop down box on the side and makes it difficult to get in and out of the seat. I agree with other comments here that the biggest issue is the economy class seating lay out. Entertainment system and food was topnotch. Service is amazing. Seat 21 K is an Economy Class seat where the close proximity to the lavatory might be bothersome. Seat 46 J is a standard Economy Class seat however, the tray table is in the armrest, making the armrest immovable and slightly reducing seat width. Next up was a mouth-watering prawn makhbous.
