Elden ring madness
It can be a frustrating area for unfamiliar Elden Ring players who quickly succumb to madness without realizing why it's happening. Elden Ring is well known for its frustrating locations , some of which can leave players feeling a little sore when an enemy or some ill effect unexpectedly jumps out and causes them to lose all their runes. Madness can be a particularly tough status effect to suddenly be afflicted with as it makes spellcasting impossible and can quickly drain health. The Frenzy-Flaming Tower around Liurnia of the Lakes is a location where first-time players may suddenly find themselves afflicted with madness, and they may not even realize why it's happening. One player has figured out a clever solution for how to deal with it. They made a post about being able to fool the Madness Eye on top of the Frenzy-Flaming Tower, which may come across to many observers as an obvious homage to the Eye of Sauron from Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings , a series that clearly inspires Miyazaki and his crew in the making of many of their fantasy worlds. The Madness Eye above the Frenzy-Flaming Tower will continually build the player's madness meter as long as they are within range and view, but apparently, disguises are an effective tool against this problem. The video showcases the player using a Mimic Veil item as a disguise. The Mimic Veil typically isn't one of the more useful items in Elden Ring , and many players often ignore it outside of occasional experiments that can make for funny videos, like sneaking up behind an enemy player in PvP. In this case, though, the Mimic Veil proves extremely useful, as it completely negates the effect of the Madness Eye, which disappears once the villagers at the top of the tower are killed. The Frenzy-Flaming Tower is an out-of-the-way location with no boss that is really only there for players who want the incantation Howl of Shabriri.
Deals good poise damage as a result. And let it affect humanoid enemies: soldiers, burger kings, knights, battle mages, nobles, commoners, ancestral followers, perfumers, bk assassins, miners, crucible knights, nox, kaiden, zamor, omen killers, elden ring madness, bulgar militia etc.

Madness is a powerful new status ailment that you can be afflicted with in the Lands Between. Similar to the frenzy status ailment from bloodborne, when your madness bar fills up, you will get a massive chunk of your health taken away. You will also lose health as you are being afflicted with the madness build-up. During your journey, you may have come across the Frenzy-Flame Tower. Like the Brain of Mensis, this tower inflicts madness if you are caught in its line of sight.

Make it chaotic. Like fire eyes, stopping to hold them and everything. Date Posted: 6 Jan, pm. Considering how the entire concept of the Frenzied Flame got its own quests, plural, and an entire ending with a cutscene different than the "sit on the throne" ones, just like Age of Stars For some reason a Crucible Knight is there too. Though considerably smaller in scale, the madness-inducing tower in Liurnia of Elden Ring might have proven reminiscent to those who have perused the novels of Tolkien. Whose work depicts the Eye of Sauron, an ever-burning orb perched atop a high tower, surveying the lands below, inducing fear in those who would dare to lock eyes with its gaze. Players of Elden Ring should find the notion of quelling the fire orb in Liurnia to be much tamer in comparison, as it is wholly man-made.
And yet this is a pvp exclusive status effect. I wish this worked on more enemies, after all it has an entire ending dedicated to it, yet its almost useless for other things than pvp. It should have been canceled out altogether or restore health or something. I mean we see plenty of other things affected by Madness.
