It had seen him attempt to submerge himself in Jamaican culture as a teen growing up as well as mixing with the local Jamaican community in his area. Having confided in Cindy Beale about what he had discovered, the pair researched the baby farming practise to discover that it was largely children of African origin who were farmed. George questioned this as he had never been told of any African connection but he soon began to piece together that his life may have been a lie. He heartbreakingly recalled a conversation with his father who instructed him to not listen to Jamaican music as a teen. George had originally believed it to have been a throw away comment but then admitted that his dad may actually have been implying something about his true background and identity.
