EODev Energy Observer Developments is the result of the unique experience acquired on board Energy Observer: the first clean energy self-sufficient hydrogen vessel, developing innovative solutions for the environment, e odev club.
It allows, thanks to a hydrogen-electric hybridization combining the use of hydrogen as fuel and Alternative Energies batteries, to ensure both the propulsion of the boat and the operation of the on-board systems. The emotion was palpable when the first electrohydrogen "dayboat" in the world was revealed on the terrace of the 3rd deck of the Yacht Club de Monaco. An event all the more significant as HSH Prince Albert II also wished to support with his presence the presentation of this innovative boat, which marks a turning point in the pursuit of low-carbon maritime mobility and sustainable yachting, challenges that it faces. From a technological point of view, around the Toyota battery, all of the electro-hydrogen hybridization carried out by EODev and its integration on board were the result of collaborative work with EVE System and Alternatives Energies. In addition to its very high energy density, hydrogen has a double interest: it is an inexhaustible resource whose combustion only releases water, oxygen and heat, which can be easily reused. As a reminder, the first internal combustion engine running on hydrogen dates from , invented by the Swiss Isaac de Rivaz.

We have always been convinced e odev club true progress is the one respecting the world we live in, e odev club, and that our eco-friendly solutions should benefit to the greatest number. From a technological point of view, around the Toyota battery, all of the electro-hydrogen hybridization carried out by EODev and its integration on board were the result of collaborative work with EVE System and Alternatives Energies.

After three years in business and close to power generators sold across the world, including the kVA GEH2 and onboard 70kW REXH2 power generators, EODev, a French developer and manufacturer of zero-emission electro-hydrogen power generators , announces the commercialization of packaged solutions over the entire power range, from 10 to 1,kVA. The first models of this new range will enter production in , and will be available on order from the first half of Recognized as a leader in hydrogen power generators, EODev is now deploying a complete offer to offer real carbon-free electricity production when standard grid supply is non-existent, faulty or limited. The objective is to avoid the emission of 30 million tons of CO2 over the next 10 years. We have demonstrated our know-how, the reliability and the validity of our products throughout the world. Whatever the applications, the replacement of diesel gensets by zero emission solutions using hydrogen is possible.

The generator uses a fuel cell and a lithium iron phosphate battery, so it is silent and emits only warm water and filtered air. Generac is a global designer and manufacturer of power products including home backup systems as well as portable, residential, commercial and industrial generators. EODev is a French developer and manufacturer of zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell power generators. The materials used in its manufacture have been chosen in order to reduce its footprint as much as possible over its entire life cycle. The generator uses a fuel cell and a lithium iron phosphate battery, reducing noise emissions and providing an instant start. One advantage of the GEH2 is it flexibility, as it can be connected to diesel or gas generators, and even to the grid.

An event all the more significant as HSH Prince Albert II also wished to support with his presence the presentation of this innovative boat, which marks a turning point in the pursuit of low-carbon maritime mobility and sustainable yachting, challenges that it faces. I am all the more happy to share this wonderful adventure with EODev, a partner of choice! The Monnoyeur group joins the historical shareholders and partners of the Energy Observer group to launch the new phase. In addition to thinking and designing tenders with the least possible impact on the environment, I want to inform, promote and advance the share of green hydrogen in the world of tomorrow and register HYNOVA Yachts as a link for change towards new patterns of behavior. This one is a success, so much so that Energy Observer will have to stay at sea two days longer than planned, the crew not being allowed to disembark until the quarantine linked to the sanitary restrictions due to the pandemic is over! After five years of design and tests in real conditions of innovative hydrogen technologies, Energy Observer launches the operational activities of EODev thanks to the unfailing support of its historical partners, to finally move from demonstration to concrete solutions. From a technological point of view, around the Toyota battery, all of the electro-hydrogen hybridization carried out by EODev and its integration on board were the result of collaborative work with EVE System and Alternatives Energies. The specially designed tanks are integrated into the boat, but on an exterior part so as to benefit from direct ventilation. It is a way to participate, at my level, in the ecological transition of tomorrow. Finally, two BorgWarner electric motors develop a power of kW each or approximately 2 x HP in diesel equivalent. The hydrogen H2 gas that powers the system is stored in compressed form at bar, the standard used by hundreds of buses around the world. Finding technologies to tackle these challenges and marketing them are EODev's mission. This clever mix of curiosity and experimentation, the willingness to perform is what is needed for the success of innovative projects and when you do not cheat with the environment.
If EODev thus reinforces its ambition to become a leading player in the industrial developments linked to the energy transition, EVE System benefits from this long-term strategic and technological link-up to strengthen its development in the combination of decarbonated electrical and hydrogen systems. EVE System started its activity in the automotive industry and quickly expanded to other sectors of activity including urban mobility, industry and the workboat sector.

Design, manufacture and use eco-friendly products and solutions designed to drastically reduce all types of polluting emissions, from greenhouse gases and fine particles to noise pollution. I am all the more happy to share this wonderful adventure with EODev, a partner of choice! The hydrogen H2 gas that powers the system is stored in compressed form at bar, the standard used by hundreds of buses around the world. After five years of design and tests in real conditions of innovative hydrogen technologies, Energy Observer launches the operational activities of EODev thanks to the unfailing support of its historical partners, to finally move from demonstration to concrete solutions. The set has been designed to allow the boat, which weighs around 9 tonnes, to reach 26 knots at maximum speed and a working speed of 12 knots. HYNOVA Yachts then hopes to be able to contribute to the development of this energy vector, which fits perfectly with my personal values.
