I think mage is better I have full alien mage purple and alien warrior purple plus the legs and I think mage does more damage. It is near impossible to do your next Dungeon, if your a mage with no legendaries or any Purple max armor from the Previous dungeon. Mages and warriors same hp, just rng involved with the armor. Speed spells have a bit less damage than other spells [in the same dungeon] but the speed usually makes up for the slightly less damage, and efficiency depends on how you play. It all just depends on how you play, your accuracy, your timing on many things, etc. But it sometimes heavily depend on the spells themselves to make the difference.
