With a new meta-impacting box being released we receive new staples and new archtypes. Mekk-Knights come out on top with the Knightmares and their searchable floodgate in Loading We enter the last week of Arms of Giant meta dominated by Mekk-Knights and Infernoids: now Future Circuit could take us into a one deck format again, as Mekk-Knights seem like the best user of the new staples and Knightmare links to be released thanks to its tech space and synergy with links. On the other hand, Loading While Magical Musket and Kozmo are archetypes with decent potential, they seem like out of place fillers in a link-themed box. The only change for this week is Salamangreat going down as a result of its drop in usage and overall effectiveness which was already mentioned last week. However it's important to note this is gonna be the last week for this format, as Future Circuit at least according to our current information will more than likely change things in a major way.

It is not surprising to see that most people entered the MCS with Onomat, which ended up being the most represented deck in Top Cut which concluded in an Onomat Mirror in the finals. Anyone who has kept up with the Meta in the last weeks could have predicted this outcome. Those results have not been seen in other DLM tournaments, so why now? The answer is very simple, now was the time to try hard. There were no opportunities to test a non-Onomat deck with some weird techs now, to dodge the mirror match which ends up being decided by who draws the right techs at the right time if both people play optimally. As such, a deck like Resonators, which is very popular in the other DLM tournaments for being able to play weird techs thanks to its flexible engine, had pretty much no entries and also did not perform well.

Rose Dragon is the dominant force in the metagame, to the extent viability of other strategies hinges on their Rose Dragon matchup. The only remaining deck on the Tier List that isn't centered around this mini-game is Galaxy Photon, but mostly because the deck has the ability to overpower the others even if it might lose to itself about a third of the time. In the first week the deck joined the Tier List I said that if the other decks did not adapt to counter the Rose Dragon then the deck will be dominating and will dominate the Tier List.
