What combination of feats would Dueling sword pathfinder need to have access and scaling proficiency for my tengu swashbuckler? Proficiency: You need to be proficient in Aldori Dueling sword to be able to select the Aldori Duelist archetype. You can achieve this by picking the Weapon Proficiency feat since Swashbucklers are proficient with martial weapons, you can use this to gain access to an Advanced weapon. Aldori Duelist Archetype then gives you a scaling proficiency.
