I can officially say after beating all bosses in dark souls 2 this game felt too easy and was the biggest disappointment except for maybe 3 bosses. Melee players are advised to strafe to his left, as this will prevent many of his thrusting attacks from connecting. Dark Souls. Alright i just brought up ds1, in the same comment thats includes being angry at ds2 for having slow bosses, even tho ds1 combat is slow, but if u swing a straight sword in ds1 and roll immediately after, the time gap between swinging and rolling, is almost nothing, in ds2 however there is a very noticeable difference between ds1 and 2s gaps between swinging and rolling, its slower, also ds1 just swings faster, yeah both combat systems are slow and kinda mid, but one is much slower then the other, to the point where some bosses feel turn based in ds2, like the rotten, and if i powerstance its even worse, if u like or even love the game thats fine, i just dont, thats it really. His soul and armor can be found in Shrine of Amana after he has been defeated. The boss can breath fire onto the ground, causing it to splash outward and deal heavy damage in two pulses to players that are caught in the blast.
