A magical prodigy, even holding the title of Sorcerer Supreme for a time, Stephen Strange' natural aptitude for the magical arts has allowed him to accumulate some impressive spellcasting feats. Some of the more famous examples of Doctor Strange's most impressive displays of power result from his usage of magical items and objects, such as the Cloak of Levitation, Sling Rings, or even the all-powerful Eye of Agamotto. He's even able to manipulate magical locations, such as the New York Sanctum, with ease, dazzling visitors like Thor and Spider-Man by shaping everything within the Sanctum to his whims as easily as thinking. Yet even without the assistance of magical items and places, Doctor Strange is quite capable when it comes to slinging powerful spells with a variety of effects. The Runes of Kof-Kol is a spell Doctor Strange can use to alter people's memories globally, manipulating the very fabric of the multiverse itself. In Spider-Man: No Way Home , Stephen Strange uses this spell to erase memories of Peter Parker on a universal scale , making everyone in the multiverse forget he ever existed. However, when interrupted, it seems the spell can have some dangerous side effects, including bringing Spider-Man's villains into new universes. Though it's never mentioned as a spell by name, one of Doctor Strange's most leaned on magical abilities is the power to astrally project himself across the world. Doctor Strange and The Ancient One both utilize this arcane power to varying effects, allowing themselves to invisibly travel far and wide in spirit form while their physical bodies stay behind. Strange has also exhibited the ability to use this spell offensibly, forcefully shunting unwitting targets out of their own bodies, which he does to Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
