Dr Bhisham Singh is an orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in spine surgery. He is experienced in treating cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine issues as well as orthopaedic conditions. Dr Bhisham Singh is a triple-board certified spine surgeon with extensive experience working across Australia, the United Kingdom and India. Dr Singh completed his medical degree at the University of Mumbai in , and achieved specialist board certification DNB in as an orthopaedic surgeon. Dr Singh then undertook sub-specialised training in paediatric orthopaedics and spine surgery before moving to the United Kingdom, where he successfully achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England FRCS Eng in and commenced working as a spine surgeon across the UK. Dr Singh and his family moved to Sydney in where he completed two prestigious year-long AOA- accredited spine surgery Fellowships in both paediatric and adult spinal surgery, which involved working as a spine surgeon across many busy NSW public hospitals covering the spine surgery roster. He was awarded the fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of surgeons in Fellowship in Spine Surgery Royal North Shore Hospital, St Leonard's, Sydney Dr Singh worked at this prestigious tertiary centre on a year-long AOA- accredited fellowship with his experience focusing on trauma, infection, tumour and adult deformity. Fellowship in Spine Surgery The Children's Hospital at Westmead, Sydney Dr Singh trained for twelve months in the spine unit at this tertiary referral center in an AOA-accredited fellowship, with exposure focusing on scoliosis, congenital and acquired deformity, and paediatric spine trauma. Dr Singh achieved the highest rank in this nationwide exit examination and was awarded the gold medal.
