They are a variant of Berry Bushes. When generating a new world, either all regular Berry Bushes including those being part of Set Pieces will be replaced by Juicy Berry Bushes, or no Juicy Berry Bushes will be present at the start.
I personally can't stand the fast spoilage time of juicy berries and the time they take to grow back, I prefer red berry bushes. I really like having compact base design for my everyday needs and then expands with decorative setpieces. Even better to cook and let it on the ground. As I never relocated berry bushes, I prefer the juicy ones since they can give me quick rot or quick filler, or fill me more as I run around the map. Juicy berries are far superior to red berries, and the spoilage time is remedied by simply leaving the berries on the bush until use, or by bundle wrap.

They can be harvested to receive 1 Berries, after which they will need from 3 to 5 days to regrow Rain will reduce this time. Berry Bushes can be dug up with a Shovel and replanted in a new location. Doing this will require the bush to be fertilised before it can regrow any new Berries. If the player tries to dig up a Berry Bush without fertilising it, it will result in 2 Twigs and the bush's destruction.
