Dishonored 2 good ending

In a game built for creatively dealing with enemies, but it doesn't make sense to spare them all. Dishonored 2 is a unique experience, founded on the difficult stealth mechanics of the past augmented by the supernatural abilities we find in many games today. Like the original Dishonored , chaos is a contributing factor to how everything plays out at the end. Determined at the end of each mission by how many enemies you lethally take down, your chaos level is measured by the amount of bloodflies you see swarming around you throughout the game, and if you end up getting it too high? That said, Arkane Studios opted to do something a little different with the endings of Dishonored 2. Instead of going back to the black-and-white tone of the endings in Dishonored , the development team created a series of conclusions that serve as a more realistic end to the story of Emily Kaldwin, Corvo Attano , and the characters who accompany them on their journey to reclaim the throne. Based on what the Dishonored 2 community has discovered so far across various playthroughs, these endings seem to be greatly influenced by a series of intertwined events such as which main targets you choose to kill or spare, how you ally yourself with different individuals throughout the campaign, and finally, the chaos level you attain. The narrative of 'Dishonored 2' is almost completely focused on key players and how you handle them, a welcome chance of pace compared to the first game. Take the Duke of Serkonos Luca Abele for example, who is an oppressive ruler looking to provoke acts of rebellion so that he can simply shut them down for fun. With enough patience and some proper planning, you can replace the Duke with him and get the real Luca Abele arrested, which will lead to a better overall ending for Karnaca. Be too forgiving, however, and you might find yourself stuck with an ending that features a little more corruption. Remember the friendly Duke? Turns out he has his own demons as well.

It's not a bad ending, it's just a different one. They're another group that either Corvo or Emily can make a deal with while traveling through Karnaka.

Dishonored 2 continues the story of the first game, with Corvo watching over Empress Emily Kaldwin, but Emily is deposed by the witch known as Delilah Copperspoon. You can take the role of either Corvo or Emily as they try to retake the throne. The first Dishonored had multiple endings based on the decisions you made as Corvo, and the sequel takes it in a somewhat different direction. Instead of there being a binary ending depending on the chaos created by Corvo, there are various stages to the ending depending on several elements. In this guide, we're going to talk about the various endings to Dishonored 2 and how to get them. Expect a lot of spoilers.

Dishonored 2 is out tomorrow, and Phil's working on our review right now. By all accounts it's shaping up to be a worthy sequel, albeit one with troubling performance problems on PC—you can read more about that right here. If you're planning to play Dishonored 2 but it's been a few years since you set foot in Dunwall, then this article is intended as a primer to get you up to speed with the events of the first game. Alternatively, if you'd like to spend the weekend getting caught up the proper way, then this also doubles as a guide to making the 'canonical' choices that will shape the story in Dishonored 2. This applies both to the characters you kill or spare and also your general playstyle, which pushes the world towards 'low chaos' and 'high chaos' states based on how violent you are. It should go without saying, but this article includes heavy spoilers for Dishonored, its DLC, and some of its related media.

All but one ending possibility in Dishonored 2 runs along the "chaos" axis of the game, and a few are dependent on whether you play as Corvo or Emily. One of the main questions at the end of the campaign is who will rule Karnaca, the southern province ruled by the Empress of the Isles? Corvo's rule of Karnaca can only be achieved if you choose to play as Corvo and make no deals with the Abbey of the Everyman, the Howlers gang, or Duke Luca Abele's body double throughout the story campaign. You'll also need to save Emily at the end of the story.
