Uzui consoles her before heading off to complete the important mission at hand. In doing so, he finds a spot in which he hears battling underground. He takes out his weapons and makes a sound loud enough to get the attention of Tanjiro and Daki who are battling to the death. Not only is our beloved demon slayer Tanjiro physically no match for Daki as his sword was revealed to be battered within seconds of the fight, but he also was no match for her with his elemental breathing techniques as he is incompatible with Water Breathing and is unable to handle the extreme heat of Flame Breathing.

However, even the two of them are struggling to protect all of the passengers from the demon; with backup arriving in the form of both Zenitsu and Rengoku.
