Deltarune snowgrave
Many players have already gone through Deltarune Chapter 2seemingly finding most of the secrets hidden within.
The Snowgrave Route [note 1] is an alternate story route in Chapter 2. It takes place in the Cyber World , and significantly alters the events of the story and the bosses encountered. Despite Chapter 1 's claims to the contrary, the player 's choices matter when making decisions in this route. The first step below is the most difficult part of the route to figure out, since the game gives no hints that this specific step is necessary. Afterward, the player should be able to figure out the rest of the route on their own, since the game immediately alerts the player when the route is abandoned. There are more requirements to maintain this route than in Undertale 's Genocide Route. Most NPCs and several background and foreground elements disappear.

The Genocide route - also known as the Weird or Snowgrave route - is the hidden route in Deltarune Chapter 2. Unlocking this route involves completing a number of specific steps, but, if you decide to wander away from the world of ethics, there's some interesting plot implications and a battle against Spamton NEO waiting for you. Below you'll discover how to start and complete the Geoncide route in Deltarune Chapter 2 - just be aware that this page is full of spoilers! To start the Genocide route, also known as the Werid or Snowgrave route, in Deltarune Chapter 2 you have to wait until you've teamed up with Noelle in the Cyber City. Unlike Undertale, you don't have to kill every enemy you encounter before this point, but you can if you really want that murder vibe. Though, no matter which route you decide to take, you will never be able to kill Sweet Cap'n Cakes. We recommend stocking up on healing items from Sweet Cap'n Cakes at their shop in the Cyber Field before starting the Snowgrave route, because, once you've started walking down this path, the shop in Cyber Shop won't be open. It's also a good idea to complete the normal route for Deltarune Chapter 2 first, so you already know the layout of Cyber City. Your first step to completing the Genocide route, also called the Weird or Snowgrave route, in Deltarune Chapter 2 is to backtrack to the Trash Field - the first area you visited in Cyber City. Noelle will comment on how you're heading the wrong way, but ignore her and continue on. Upon leaving the area where you team up with Noelle, you'll encounter a Virovirokun and it's here where the Genocide route truly begins. This route's first twist is that it's not Kris who will be doing the murdering, but Noelle. To achieve this, we recommend making Kris defend in every turn or every match, because this will give you the TP required for Noelle's Iceshock spell. Noelle must use Iceshock on every enemy you encounter until they're frozen solid and the fight ends. The enemy will then be frozen on the overworld screen too, helping you keep track of which ones you've encountered.
Spamton NEO ambushes the player before they can seal the fountain, deltarune snowgrave, forcing them to fight him as the final boss solo, making the fight considerably harder than it is on a normal route.
In Chapter 2 of Deltarune , players have access to a secret route that most fans refer to as "Snowgrave. While taking this secret option has no effect on how the second chapter of Deltarune ends, it does, however, alter the course of the narrative and the position of several characters. This makes it obvious that selecting this course of action does seem to have implications that will continue into subsequent chapters. The hidden way that somewhat mirrors Undertale 's genocide route, however, requires an extremely strict process to finish. Follow the steps listed below and make sure to have Noelle freeze every enemy encountered, except where specifically noted below, as skipping an enemy or ending the encounter with anything other than freezing the enemy will break the game out of the Snowgrave route.
Many players have already gone through Deltarune Chapter 2 , seemingly finding most of the secrets hidden within. What secret caught most of the players off guard, however, was the hidden route that parallels Undertale 's genocide route. An important thing to note is that playing this hidden route does not change the ending of Deltarune 's second chapter. However, it does change how the story plays out and the status of certain characters by the end of the chapter. Because of this, it is clear that choosing this route does seem to have consequences that will carry on over to future chapters. Certain story elements in Deltarune are assumed to have been revealed already and may cause confusion if the initial context isn't given first. Despite the common nickname for this route being the Genocide route, killing all enemies isn't necessary from the very start.

The Snowgrave Route does not properly begin until Noelle joins the party in Cyber City, so any actions performed before then will not impact the progression of the route.

As soon as Noelle joins the party, players will want to backtrack to the Trash Zone and hit every enemy encounter possible. Instead, you need to head the attack menu and call upon your various party members five times until one arrives to help you. When talking to Berdly, make sure you select 'Proceed,' because the other option will abort the Genocide route. However, there are certain optional steps players can take before it starts to make the route, as a whole, much easier. When Noelle tries to decline, the NPC calls her an "Angel" and tells her she can't get stronger without better equipment. Follow the steps listed below and make sure to have Noelle freeze every enemy encountered, except where specifically noted below, as skipping an enemy or ending the encounter with anything other than freezing the enemy will break the game out of the Snowgrave route. It is still required to have Noelle freeze all of the enemies and have Kris defend each turn to have enough TP for the spell. Next, visit the shopkeeper on the right-hand side of this area; make sure you've frozen all of the enemies in this area first though. Holding down the Z button will also allow you to charge bigger, more powerful, bullets - a big shot one could say. Instead of just attacking, players need to make Kris defend and have Noelle use Ice Shock on every enemy to defeat them. Getting stronger
Developer Toby Fox was always interested in how monstrous someone would have to be to actually kill as much as an RPG protagonist did, and this route was a commentary on that. The light and humorous world of Undertale basically became a horror game with the difficulty turned way up. Of course, all the sickos of the gaming world gladly jumped at the opportunity to become serial killers.
Certain things, however, will be different thanks to you completing a genocide route - we recommend checking in with Berdly and visiting Rudolph in the hospital. Feature Deltarune is a game about playing, and it's bloody brilliant. It's important to note that, due to the ThornRing, Noelle's health will drop throughout the fight, but it should stop at Making these decisions will have the salesman offer Kris a Freeze Ring for Noelle. Spamton NEO ambushes the player before they can seal the fountain, forcing them to fight him as the final boss solo, making the fight considerably harder than it is on a normal route. Game Content. Inside is Spamton, who will tell players how many enemies need to be killed. If you've been following the Snowgrave route correctly, then there won't be any cars on the road, allowing you to explore them freely. Along the way, you'll encounter new enemies called Pipis, which will attack you once and, in doing so, destroy themselves. Sign In Register. There is no point in attacking other than Noelle's new spell. This, and all other enemies, must be defeated with Noelle's IceShock spell. Kris's damage done by normal attacks is capped at 10 about 0. Like in a normal run of Deltarune Chapter 2, you'll now find yourself in a fight with Berdly.
