The CTSI transforms the approach to education and training that is required to accelerate the pace of discoveries in the life sciences and the rapid translation of these discoveries into clinical practice. It is designed to enhance the development of all individuals involved in translational science and to reengineer the training of future investigators in each step of clinical ctsi training from bench to bedside and finally to practice in the community, ctsi training.

The CTSI Responsible Conduct of Research RCR Center serves as a resource for the ethical conduct of research at the University and sponsors workshops on a wide array of topics and areas important to the research community. The Institute for Clinical Research Education ICRE offers a variety of educational, training, and career-development programs designed to enhance understanding of, and promote careers in, clinical and translational research. The Innovation as a Discipline IaaD Program and Innovations Training Program provide experimental training and advanced innovation seminars and workshops to give you hands-on design and problem-solving exercises and opportunities while working with external innovation leaders and entrepreneurs. This Community Partner Research Ethics Training CPRET and Certification is intended for community partners who are actively involved in research with human subjects to learn about conducting research that is ethical and safe. American Board of Pediatrics The mission of the American Board of Pediatrics ABP is to promote high quality health care during infancy, childhood, adolescence, and the transition into adulthood through assuring that the general pediatrician or pediatric subspecialist has successfully completed accredited training and fulfills the continuous evaluation requirements that encompass the six core competencies: patient care, medical knowledge, practice-based learning and improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, and systems-based practice. A special agreement exists with the ABP and the ABIM where an applicant may fulfill the training requirements of both the ABP and the ABIM by completing 2 years of accredited training in general comprehensive pediatrics and 2 years of accredited training in general comprehensive internal medicine in an integrated program. An applicant may not take the certifying examination of the ABP until all 4 years of training have been successfully completed. Society of General Internal Medicine The Society of General Internal Medicine SGIM was founded in by a national group of academic general internists committed to promoting research and education aimed at improving healthcare for the whole patient.
