I used brown, cream, black and white cotton or wool a crochet hook and scissors. Thread to sew together, a sewing needle and a darning needle to weave in ends. I've used the applique to decorate items such as towels, bibs or shirts. I have not made this yet so I cannot rate it. We are adding your Comments. Have you done a video tutorial for this pattern? Your pics are great but I learn better with the videos. Anyway you can make a video of how you do this please? I'm knew and don't understand the instructions on here. Just wondering - do you use US or UK terminology when referring to your stitches?? Very nice pattern and very well explained. I just finished my deer head and looks great.

I have so many ideas for it The hot glue packaging that I use says non-toxic so it is safe in my opinion. Note - for extra security I add a glob of hot glue to the back of my safety eyes.
