To make some sense of Courtney and her motives I have made a theory about her untold backstory. Most people act the way they do because of how they were raised. I believe her mother was a cold, courtney tdi, workaholic law firm owner who treated Courtney as a project rather than a daughter, courtney tdi.

Although she originally didn't qualify for the first half of the season of Total Drama Action , she debuted as a castmate on the season in Ocean's Eight—or Nine due to a successful lawsuit. She was placed on the Killer Grips and was the main antagonist for the second half of the season. She was seen with the original contestants on a yacht in the first episode of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island , and later returned as a camper for Total Drama All-Stars where she was placed on the Heroic Hamsters before being moved to the Villainous Vultures. As a high achiever, Courtney has a polarizing personality, but at her core, she thinks of herself as a born leader, which often leads to her not letting others have a chance to take control. Although she is extremely bossy, competitive, critical, and even manipulative at times, she can be civil and polite to her fellow competitors under specific circumstances and in the beginning of the series. Such examples were in Phobia Factor where Courtney scolds her team for mocking Tyler's fear, Basic Straining , where she stands up for Harold against Duncan and Geoff, and in Jamaica Me Sweat , when she is the only one to acknowledge the injured Izzy and Owen. As an overachiever, she has a tendency to overreact when things go wrong, and drives herself crazy in order to get what she wants. She has become notorious among the contestants for constantly reminding them of her counselor-in-training experience, resulting in their constant annoyance. However, throughout her four competing seasons, the severity of Courtney's behavior becomes extremely antagonistic. When she wants something, she will fight to the death to get it, with no regard for the safety of others, going as far to leave people in danger, hence losing her former friendly and civil nature. However, sometimes her determination ultimately leads to her own downfall. Courtney has exceptional athletic abilities and is also capable of lifting amounts of weight much greater than her own.

Detrimental Determination : Courtney will go to any length to get what she wants, no matter what it is, and no matter what it costs her. Courtney talks about her job as an ice cream vendor, and how she got fired. Her profound lack of humility and constant excuses ultimately comes back to bite her in the ass. Gwen is feeling guilty for having kissed Duncan behind her back, but plays along with Courtney's excitement uncomfortably. Courtney shows her a list of things that she intends to change about Duncan, so he can be perfect. In the end, she narrowly escaped the first elimination by sheer luck, as Ezekiel carelessly makes some sexist comments about women, saving her from elimination. You would be forgiven for not believing that with her performances in Total Drama Island. Despite Courtney not seeing anything in him initially past the alliance, both of them quickly develop feelings towards each other when Scott shows attraction towards her bossiness. Sadly, her old habits came back like a relapse and she took it upon herself to push away her friendship and relationship with Scot to the corner and chose winning. Control Freak : So much so that she drew up a page contract for Duncan to follow in order to mold him into her idea of the perfect boyfriend.
