In the company's latest earnings call, Costco CFO Richard Galanti said some of the chain's artificial Christmas trees are part of the company's leftover inventory from last year. Due to supply chain issues, some of the artificial trees in stock are ones that came in after Christmas. Galanti said keeping the artificial Christmas trees to sell this year didn't "hurt" the company in any way except that it doesn't "like to have extra inventory.
