When he's not raging in Slipknot or crooning with Stone Sour , Corey Taylor is known for geeking out about all things comics and horror. The metal titan is a huge fan of monsters and ghouls from all decades of pop culture, so it's not a surprise to learn that he has a particular affinity for the late, iconic horror actor Christopher Lee , whose best known for portraying Count Dooku in Star Wars and notably became a metal musician late in his life, dropping a symphonic metal record called Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross at the spry age of 88! There's a lot to love about the man, but Taylor decided to honor Lee with a grisly back tattoo of his performance as Frankenstein in the classic, The Curse of Frankenstein. You're all constantly asking us what Corey Taylor thinks about everything on a daily basis, and today, we can finally answer that question for you. The Slipknot frontman has shared a photo of his new Frankenstein tattoo, which he appears to be very proud of. Well, the tattoo itself isn't entirely new, but it's newly completed. Taylor posted a photo on his Instagram of his back, which has been freshly inked with a detailed portrait of the late actor Christopher Lee as Frankenstein. Lee starred as the monster in the film The Curse of Frankenstein, and later became known for portraying Count Dracula in several other Hammer Horror movies as well.

During a sitdown with GQ, the Slipknot vocalist confessed that he would never get a face tattoo because he considered getting a face tattoo akin to getting a nipple piercing.
