Cool fursuits
I am looking for tutorials for hanging dog ears, I cool fursuits tried googling but there is none what I can find. I am making a digi fursuit, and I am having a problem.
This fursuit cooling ventilator system project was made possible in collaboration with Singapore Fursuit maker Animagus Fursuits, who created the fursuit head, handpaws and feetpaws. Thanks to Pawsry for being my handler. Photo by Rileycosine. Picture 2: The current prototype as of the most recent update for this post. Note that the trolley is usually rolled around on the floor. I had placed it up on a chair for better viewing. The idea of building something to help reduce the risk of heat injury for fursuiters, or mascot costumed performers in general, came to mind many years ago when I read about the moderate to high risk of heat injury that many fursuiters faced.

Down right sweltering, in fact. This tutorial was written to share some tips on how to stay cool and being safe while having fun in your fursuit. First, I'll go over some basic techniques that anyone can use. Knowing your limits is the number one way that you can stay safe while in suit. Start by trying on your fursuit for 15 minutes, take at least an hour break, and then try for thirty minutes. This friend should be able to tell you when your time limit is up. When you fursuit you can very quickly become dehydrated. Neglecting to drink lots of water can lead to dizziness, terrible headaches, and can even cause you to pass out. By drinking water you can extend the amount of time you can comfortably fur-suit by quite a bit. Since you may not want to remove your head every time you need a drink, having a straw is a must. For long flexible straws, try buying some airline tubing for fish tanks and cutting it into two-foot segments. You can find airline tubing cheaply at most department stores that have a pet section. Wearing a cooling type under armor beneath your fursuit can make a huge difference in how hot you feel while in suit. Under Armor can be expensive, but there are many different brands of sports wear that do the same thing. Since under armor is designed to wick away sweat, it also goes a long way in keeping your fursuit dry and sweat free.
Drying of Fursuit Head After Suiting One of the key things I had to note for my fursuit head was that it cannot be hand washed, cool fursuits.

Xege Kheiru Jennifer is an ex-costume designer turned fursuit maker, better known by her fursona's name Xege Kheiru. Under this alias she has written extensively for the Fursonafy blog and many others on the topic of fursuit making and general information about the furry fandom. A fursuit is an animal costume worn by some members of the furry fandom known as furries. Not all furries wear them nor is it a requirement to wear one to be considered a furry. Some fursuiters make their fursuits themselves, and others commission fursuit makers to create a professional fursuit for them with all the bells and whistles that come with it. These can range from cool little trinkets that can help further personalize your suit, to genuinely practical items that make wearing the suit for extended periods of time a lot more comfortable. Furry badges are an awesome way to completely personalize your suit and stand out from the crowd. Image via Reddit. Given that you are already dressing up as an animal, why not slap on a trendy little collar just to personalize your fursuit that little bit more? This is a very fitting accessory for any dog or cat fursuit but it is obviously not exclusive to just them.

Need to remove bodysuit before being able to remove cooling vest. However, due to the constant flow of air through the fursuit head provided by the ventilator module, humidity is unable to build up and the pair of glasses do not turn foggy, even after fursuiting for over a hour. Log in now. However, even in non-air-conditioned spaces, it is still able to significantly mitigate the extent to which the suiter feels hot or very humid, providing for a more comfortable suiting experience overall. Problem The main problem faced by fursuiters is the gradual buildup of heat inside their suits, which very often cannot be easily dissipated depending on the type and amount of suit construction materials used. Photo by Rileycosine. The solution was to make a similar mounting and attachment system for the tail as was made for the ventilator module. Rear View Appearance Picture The rear view of the ventilator module when worn without a bodysuit. Note that the trolley is usually rolled around on the floor. These will be improved on subsequently in potential future variants: A handler is needed for wearing on or taking off this suit, at least for this current prototype. When you fursuit you can very quickly become dehydrated. Anonymous comments are disabled in this journal. Loading Comments
Cosplay mainstream has become incredibly popular over the past few years.
Furthermore, as the pair of glasses are attached by a Velcro mount, they can be easily removed for cleaning or changing servicing whenever necessary. Limitations of Existing Solutions There are current solutions for tackling this problem of heat buildup in fursuits, most notably a body cooling vest that makes use of cooling gel packs. By drinking water you can extend the amount of time you can comfortably fur-suit by quite a bit. Each of them wore it on a couple of occasions for a period of about half an hour to an hour each time. Note the tail mount attachment system indicated by the black coloured bow shaped Velcro patch in the middle. The entire unit would have to be held together with some kind of chassis that had to be lightweight yet strong. To overcome these issues, an additional thicker layer of fleece fabric was sewn in under the layer of faux fur. The principle behind the whole concept of staying cool inside the fursuit was centered around the law of conservation of energy. Apologies if this has been asked before I'm sure it has, anyways , but I was wondering how fellow fursuiters stay cool in full-on fursuits ice pack chest apparatus, fans built in to the masks, etc. Each pair of fans is tightly coupled together as a single unit and operates at 12 volts. Should anything abnormal be detected, the controller will shut down the battery pack until the problem is resolved. This modular nature allows for future customization as required. Final Prototype The finished prototype is as shown below.
I apologise, but, in my opinion, you are not right. Let's discuss it. Write to me in PM, we will communicate.
