First Baptist Church of Clinton is now up to full pastoral staff with the addition of Jesse Belvin, who will serve as the associate pastor of students and families. Jesse, along with his wife Abby, and their 2-year-old son, has relocated from Elgin to Clinton to join the church and the community. While she has enjoyed her time in the Clinton Lady Reds soccer program, senior Pao Ochoa has her eyes set on something better in her future. I recognize that my behavior is hurting those I love, and I am desperate to find a way to overcome this addiction and repair the damage it has caused. I feel consumed by the need to play games, and it has become a coping mechanism that only fuels my anger and frustration. I really want to break free from this addiction and rebuild my relationships with my family. Many adults, like you, find themselves caught in the clutches of gaming. While the playground may be for every youngster, it will contain special features focusing on special need kids, such as wheelchair ramps, shaded areas, quiet zones, Braille boards and sign-language boards. Organizers said the playground will be built near the main Clinton-Macomb Public Library, where it will serve everyone equally, including the 4, people in Clinton Township who have intellectual and physical disabilities. The Clinton Township's Board of Trustees last week approved several measures relating to the playground. State funds were secured by state Rep. Cannon and other officials say the board will have continued oversight of the project, while the committee will continue to fundraise in an effort to reduce or eliminate the need for any local government funds to be used, and engineers will start their work. Board members also approved signing the grant agreement from the state and approved working with vendor Game Time to put together the project design. These moves the amenity is now fully funded and moving ahead in the community, said Deputy Supervisor Dan O'Leary. Located in Ft. Payne, Ala.
