Fuggiti gli uomini di Barrese, i tre uomini dei Corleone che lo hanno seguito ne ritrovano il corpo in condizioni terribili. Poco prima di morire anche lui, Vito ammette che pur essendo adatto alla vita malavitosa, Sonny non possedeva l'acume e la pazienza necessarie per guidare a lungo la Famiglia in veste di Don. Born near Trapani , Sicily , Peter Clemenza is one of Don Vito Corleone 's caporegimes and oldest friends, as well as the godfather of his eldest son, Sonny.
