Shannon Smith is an American Journalist who is also a television personality she was born and brought up in Herman, Minnesota.
Here are a few of her photos and the paintings that resulted…. Shannon and Clay headed to Nantucket, MA for a long weekend in July… Shannon took some photos so that she had inspiration to paint the beautiful location she just left! Just look at this sky! This scene is so New England. What a wonderful place! JAWS was written in this house!

Nice, right? This studio was a lot of work and dedication! Shannon recently married Clay Hughes, and together they set out to build Shannon a dream studio. I would say they succeeded! We were originally going to white wash the ship lap a creamy white, but went to Palmetto Bluff for our family show in April and saw it in the town center and loved it! Ahhh, the fun part… time to unpack! Notice the shelves that hold the props that Shannon uses in her paintings…. I like the idea of supporting local! Also the fact that they are made with a linseed and walnut oil blend creates a nice juicy consistency. Can you imagine a space this beautiful to spend your days painting? Note the loft space, for storage and for sleeping. They are in the process of having a library ladder designed and built for easy access. How rewarding to be a part of the process from the very beginning! Here is the setup of the first piece painted in the new studio… Green was a wise choice… striking! More details coming soon!

We learned the names of some of the QVC and HSN employees who were swept out in the layoff massacre on Tuesday, and they are some very familiar faces. Gracie was at QVC for nearly two decades. Hughes was at QVC for 33 years. Smith was at HSN for nearly 30 years. Fox was there for nine years. We just learned about her and updated this blog. All three ex-hosts posted the news of their departures on Facebook, very graciously.

You know how it is when you live in the same neighborhood as someone, where you see them on occasion, but never have the opportunity to meet? Well that all changed at a Zach Brown concert, October A spark was ignited and the rest is history! I know! You want details… photos… right? There are so many fabulous photographs of their wedding, it was difficult to narrow it down! The proposal was too romantic!

Her husband was the officer responsible for leading the legal team and all the compliance activities within the company. Being an HSN host she has a salary of an average of fifty thousand dollars multiplied by her net worth. On Wednesday the company reported its fourth-quarter earnings, and it was not pretty. You know how it is when you live in the same neighborhood as someone, where you see them on occasion, but never have the opportunity to meet? Starting with HSN she promoted a lot of products including home decor and electrical appliances along with Suzanne Runya. She loved and was passionate about her job which showed her honesty in HSN.
