This was our first time to Izmir, Turkey and we picked Movenpick due to it's location. We requested for high floors and Sea View but was placed on the 3rd with a sea view. We also stated that we were on Honeymoon and the hotel decorated our bed with fake rose petals and embroidered pillowcase. Staff at reception was friendly, although not everyone spoke English. They provided me with a local map of Izmir and told me directions of where to go around this area. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, the only fault would be the very thin carpet on the floor in the room, every time we step on the carpet the floor made creaking noises. A very modern hotel in downtown Izmir. Room was clean and comfortable and staff were very friendly and professional. They booked my Ephesus trip for me when I checked in. Rooftop restaurant is excellent too. Many thanks guys, I had a great stay!
