The new restaurant has taken over the former Indian restaurant Chandelier in Long Eaton - giving it a complete makeover. The previous restaurant closed in May after more than 30 years of serving bhajis and bhunas to the local community.

Lovely food as always and great delivery. Food was amazing as always, delivery did take well over 75 mins though! Over a hour late. Cold food and forgot the rice. Fast delivery and the food was amazing. Excellent service and the food was fantastic. Regular customer. Tonight's curry was very greasy. Had a layer on top of the curry that didn't mix in. Nan was lovely though. This happens everything unfortunately but the menu states curry comes with pilau rice, but it never does. Excellent service and food. Chips were cold and no sauce with the steak.

The owners of an Indian restaurant have announced with "heavy heart" that it is to close down after three decades. Jay Singh broke the news to customers on Facebook that it was the end of the road for the Chandelier in Long Eaton. The restaurant, in Derby Road, is the oldest in the town. Mr Singh said the business had been hard hit by Covid and had struggled to recover financially.
We dined at the chandelier as a back up option when our chosen Indian was not open. There was 4 of us and it was very last minute but they couldn't have accommodated us more. There were exceptionally welcoming and seated us quickly. We then We live just around the corner from the Chandelier so it has become our default Friday night restaraunt of choice,thats not to say we compromise as we love eating there,ask for the staff curry if they have made any,it is quite fabulous and a million Only had a couple of take aways but they were very nice. They were hot and we live nearly 6 miles away.
