The show follows the story of a self-made businessman, Martin Parker, who is struggling to keep his head above water as the s turn into the s. With the ambition of Lord Alan Sugar but the swagger of Robert Kilroy Silk, Parker has a chain of electrical stores bearing his name, he seems to have it all. However, the truth starts to come out as he continues to swim in debt and confront his complicated private life. The show starts on BBC One at 9.
