House of Wonders is a vegetarian restaurant in Cascais, Portugal. Prices are higher than average especially for the meat that can be charged by weight. Show all places. Very good food - peking duck, steamed bao, prawns in a beautiful setting. Salads with shrimp or chicken are equally substantial. Cuisine from Abruzzo. When the weather is good, you hardly notice the painted street because it is covered end to end with people happily enjoying their outdoor tables in the middle of the pedestrian-only street. Here is the best brownie in the world, and the best ice cream of course!!! There are also several cafes where you can pick up freshly baked goods and coffee. They offer traditional Portuguese meat, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. The menu is varied, with Portuguese and Italian influences. Everyone could speak English and they were all very polite and taking care of us. Very good value. If you want to go to a smaller and more personable place that is still one of the best restaurants in Cascais , Terroso is the place.
