It first aired on Teletoon on November 7, until February 11, It is set in the fictional Galleria Mall and follows an ensemble cast of six sixteen-year-old friends as they explore their first part-time jobs and lives as teenagers. It is a Fresh TV Inc. Of these three channels, the most recent and most thorough to air the show was Cartoon Network, which aired all but 24 episodes of the series; those episodes were cut for various censorship reasons. Despite airing in its most complete form on Cartoon Network, the network unfortunately premiered the episodes out of order. For example, Cartoon Network would air a first season episode as a "new" episode, then the next "new" episode would be from Season 3, and the one after that could come from Season 2.

Set in the Galleria Mall, a fictional large shopping mall based on the Toronto Eaton Centre and the West Edmonton Mall , the show revolves around the lives of six sixteen-year-old friends who work part-time jobs at different stores within the mall. The main characters, Jude, Caitlin, Jonesy, Nikki, Jen, and Wyatt, face various adventures while dealing with typical teenage issues, such as crushes , relationships, friendships, school and jobs. The group frequently hangs out at the mall's central food court, where they share their experiences, provide support to one another, and engage in banter. The show's creators, Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch , researched by taking the writers to visit the Toronto Eaton Centre to observe teens hanging out in there. The series' main characters were designed by Brad Coombs and the music was composed by Donald "Don" Breithaupt and Anthony Vanderburgh. The show was produced with a then newly-implemented hybrid- 2D - computer animation animation software called "Opus" through a development partnership between Teletoon, Nelvana and Montreal -based acclaimed animation software company Toon Boom Animation. An acoustic version of the theme music by Brian Melo is included in the show's final episode, "Bye Bye Nikki? A special reunion public service announcement titled "Vote, Dude! I'm sure I don't need to tell you that the '90s were a stellar time for children's TV shows. Just like I don't need to tell you that there was also a slew of Cartoon Network shows that you loved in the '90s and would always make time for. The best Cartoon Network shows of the '90s were serving up unique toons that felt truly original. These were shows that were ridiculous, hilarious, anarchic, stupid, inspiring, and, most importantly, easy to watch. It was so easy to switch over to Cartoon Network back in the '90s and find yourself pulled into its programming for the rest of the day. While many of these were original shows, others were shows that were retrieved from stations like The WB or CBS, so they could continue to be screened in reruns on the station. And thank goodness for that, because the mixture of content really worked. There was, and still is, no mistaking the unique charm of a Cartoon Network original show, but those charms also played out wonderfully among the weird and wonderful variety of other cartoons featured on the channel.
