We refuse to drive our car to the trailhead. This was our experience…. We threw it above our head and allowed it to crash down upon our driveway, numerous times, while it continuously played music. We even enjoyed an episode of our favorite TV show while repeatedly spraying it with a water bottle, but it refused to stop playing. However, dropping it in a glass of water is something we highly discourage. Needless to say, we support the rugged claims. The Buckshot is extremely easy to pair for the first time and even easier afterwards. Hold the button down for 6 seconds, then select the speaker in the bluetooth settings on your phone. From that point on, it connected with our phone automatically, within seconds of turning it on. Unfortunately, while it connected with ease, it was difficult to operate the volume and accept calls while riding. The design leaves the controls out of view, on the opposing side of the speaker, and therefore left us working it blindly. We would prefer if the controls were on top of the speaker. While connected to our phone, we found the Buckshot to work with a direct line of sight of up to about 8-feet away.

The only reason I bought another one is because I lost mine You can always remove it later.
