What components could i swap out in stages and have everything else continue to work and what would need to be done as a bulk job. Ideally i would like to stagger the bulk of upgrades when i can due to the cost and then perform the final changeover shifters, rear mech, cassette, rear hub etc as one final blow. If you like road.
