Everyone knew and used Dad's name which I am sure helped him feel he was somewhere he was known and should be. Every staff member my brother Andrew and I met greeted us with a smile and a warm "hello". The photos of Dad's pureed lunch fooled some friends thinking it was a piece of steak! The meal supplied to Andrew and I was the "real deal" and was delicious. Dad has already commented twice how really nice the meals have been.

BlueCross Western Gardens is a purpose-built aged care home located in Sunshine with 90 good-sized rooms and excellent facilities including central climate control, self-service kitchenettes, and three large courtyards.
