About us Black Site Studios was originally started in as a custom terrain studio called Home Brewed Worlds We had a moment of clarity when standing in a local gaming store looking over the multitude of games being played. Make sure to wipe down any cutting residue and wear a mask if when sanding or trimming MDF, the burnt wood smell is part of the laser cutting process and it totally normal. You may leave the kit parts outside for a day or so and the smell will be reduced. Make sure you take your time when popping the parts from the sprue sheets.
