Black Sperm if one of the most interesting antagonist in the One Punch Man manga for many years now. Not only because he is so powerful stated by mangaka to be perhaps as powerful as Orochi, a confirmed Above Dragon level threat but because his powers have been a mystery for many years. We've received a lot of statements and feats for Black Sperm over the course of the last OPM chapters. I've been looking forward to making a thread like this in some time now. And even though we are yet to understand what Platinum Sperm is fully capable off, I think we can already sit down and talk about how does this monster work, what does he can or can not do, and how powerful truly is it. I'm not intending this to be a respect thread. More of an open house discussion and a place to share ideas.

Superalloy Blackluster, one of the most physically imposing heroes, has had the greatest success in fighting it off, and Black Sperm seemed particularly annoyed that they shared a color scheme. Eventually, its bodies became so numerous that other heroes were forced to jump in, including Bang and an exhausted Tatsumaki. Even multiple adversaries haven't proven enough to stop him, although the fighting had slowed Black Sperm down enough to the point where he was starting to grow worried. In a fit of desperation, Black Sperm announced his intent to multiply as much as possible and "Engulf everything in a Sperma-Tozoa Tsunami. Amusingly, none of the heroes seemed to be quite as disturbed as perhaps they should be by the attack, and fortunately for them, back-up appeared in the form of the Council of Swordmasters, which made it possible to funnel the monster towards one spot. For an ultimate move, Black Sperm's tsunami attack was certainly a difficult tactic to deal with, but dividing oneself up that much comes at a cost: with each body so small, they're far less able to inflict actual damage, especially on tough heroes like Blackluster.

Classes and rankings don't necessarily equate to power. The monsters simply observe King and plan on their next move, which gives Tatsumaki enough time to recover.

He also seems to show a sense of kinship with other monsters, as he felt sorry for Overgrown Rover when he thought Genos and Saitama would kill him instead of keeping him as a pet. Like other monsters, Black Sperm appears to care little for the lives of humans as he was about to kill the child kidnapped by the Monster Association without remorse.
