Tell your story. When he was eight, Bereket's father died and he, his sister and their mother moved in with an uncle. The uncle did not treat them well and Bereket decided to escape. He wanted to find a way to help his mother. Together with other people he walked to a refugee camp in a neighbouring country. He stayed there for two years and made some friends but could not help his mother. One day a friend called him from Libya and asked him to join him to go to Europe. The friend said this was the best way Bereket could help his family. Bereket hesitated, but then he left with two girls. They walked a long way until a car came and picked them up.
