The ad found me on Facebook. Perhaps it was also the other way round. It became one of my highlights in the Covid year What grows slowly gets easily overlooked. The course was different than books with the same title. It started with the question why we enrolled for the course. Some want to get out of consumer debts. There are often also positive reasons. Some want to spend more times with their kids. Some want to live in a more relaxed house without all the stuff. I sometimes skipped the yoga practice because I had so much to do. Soon I realized that all these things that I have keep me from practicing yoga. Every tiny thing that one has needs attention. I started to declutter like a wild one.

Some entertainment and rest is good—of course. Nothing beats the becoming minimalist of faith and belief. Inviting an external perspective can offer helpful insights into our habits, including those related to social media.

Social media offers some wonderful benefits. It allows us to stay connected with friends, remain informed, and even make a difference in the world as an example, in many ways, the reach of this website has grown significantly because of social media. That being said, social can also become a significant source of distraction and overwhelm. There is also tons of research of the potential downsides of it. One of the core benefits of minimalism is added intentionality in how we spend our time and money. And many of the same principles we apply to physical possessions can be applied to social media.

Minimalism is a lifestyle choice to live with less. People who choose to live a minimalist lifestyle generally have a strong sense of awareness and are very intentional with their actions and words. When it comes to what a minimalist is, there are no solid rules. However, in general, minimalism is all about decluttering your life of unnecessary things material and emotional to create more peace and happiness. Like I mentioned before, minimalism is intentionally living with only the things I really need—those items that support my purpose. I am removing the distraction of excess possessions so I can focus more on those things that matter most. But oftentimes I desire to answer more in-depth.
