Beagle Rescue QLD is an all-volunteer, foster based, not-for-profit registered charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of abused, neglected Beagles and Hounds in council pounds at risk of euthanasia, be they pedigree, purebred or beagle mixes. We help owner surrenders when they are no longer able to care for their Beagles be it due to health, financial or any reason without judgment. We help all Beagles in need be they pedigree, purebred or beagle mixes. The dedication of our charity is to prevent and relieve the suffering of animals by undertaking rescue, care, welfare and rehoming of abandoned or unwanted beagle breed canines including but not limited to Beagles, Harriers, Foxhounds, Basset Hounds and Coonhounds and to Rescue beagles from neglect, abuse, and abandonment, be they impounded strays or surrendered by their owners. While many of the hounds that come to us are usually one at a time we have also rehomed many bonded pairs and have also taken in to our care several litters of puppies of varying ages from only a few days old to a few weeks old. If you have a beagle that you need to rehome, we are the people to come too. We take every care to find your beagle its perfect new fur-ever home. Foster carers are our lifeblood. Without foster carers we would not exist. If you would like to make a massive difference in a Beagles life being a foster carer is the way to go. Nothing is more rewarding than taking in a beagle that has had a rough start in life and watching it grown with confidence. As we are affiliated with Dogs Queensland, we are only able to provide this service to purebred beagles. The club will require evidence of the dog being a purebred beagle before we will assist with the rehoming. If this is not available, we will require a photo of the beagle to confirm the beagle is purebred. All Beagles rehomed by the Beagle Club of Queensland have been desexed, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped prior to being rehomed. They will also have been checked by a Veterinarian and will be in a condition suitable for rehoming, as well as a behaviour assessment to determine their personality and behaviour needs.
