The holiday park is open all year, and guests are welcome with tents and touring caravans. Electric hook ups are available on a number of pitches, at a small additional charge. Seasonal pitches are available for guests to book during the busy season, while guests that fall in love with Bay Ness Farm and want to make it their regular holiday escape can take advantage of on-site caravan storage or even enquire about booking a year-long caravan pitch, to come and go from the campsite as they please, without towing. The park is popular among campers with 4x4 all terrain vehicles, and the centre often runs club events at weekends, including time trials. These events are all family friendly and attract a large audience, and guests often choose a stay at Bay Ness Farm in order to attend one. During your camping and caravan holidays on the North Yorkshire coast, it's wonderful to spend days at the beach, and that is the obvious thing to do when staying at the site. The Point of Ness Campsite is situated on the scenic shoreline overlooking the town of Stromness, and with dramatic views of hills of Hoy. Stromness is a small picturesque town built on the lower slopes of a granite hillside. Many houses are built into the side of the hill and others are built on stone piers.
