So I've noticed that when playing on my unmodded, unofficial server, that beacon loot has gotten pretty horrid. Even the higher level beacons all I'm getting are things like compass blueprints and flashlight attachments and other stuff that is stacking up in the multiples, ark spawn beacon.

These can be indicative of either a Beacon or an Obelisk, but what is the difference between them? They share some qualities, but otherwise are very different from one another in terms of their uses.
