Annabethy
Welcome to my writing! Happy reading, loves! Percy Jackson [Longer Fics]. Somehow, annabethy, someway.
This post is specifically for those who have a problem with the casting of Leah Jeffries as Annabeth Chase. First, let me be clear I am speaking here only for myself. These thoughts are mine alone. They do not necessarily reflect or represent the opinions of any part of Disney, the TV show, the production team, or the Jeffries family. The response to the casting of Leah has been overwhelmingly positive and joyous, as it should be. She will be a role model for new generations of girls who will see in her the kind of hero they want to be.

Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians is one of the most popular fantasy series of all time. Fans of the saga love it for the adventure, the magic, and the endearing, dynamic characters. Inarguably, one of the best characters in the whole series is Annabeth Chase, the Greek demigod daughter of Athena. She's also one of Percy's first rivals, closest friends, and, eventually, his love interest. Here's everything you need to know about this standout YA heroine. Warning: This following article contains spoilers for the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Annabeth Chase is the demigod daughter of Athena, the goddess of wisdom, and much like her mother, she is exceptionally intelligent. Annabeth loves talking about philosophy and pondering architecture and design. But she's not just smart in a bookish way—Annabeth is also courageous, spirited, and strong. She tends to be cautious and judgmental when she first meets a person or creature , but when she grows close to someone, she is protective and loyal to the end.
Annabethy
Like much of the series, Annabeth's introduction is fairly faithful to the source material. She first shows up while Percy is unconscious from the Minotaur attack, though Percy remembers seeing her in the infirmary. He meets her officially later on, and the two develop something between a friendship and rivalry over Camp Half-Blood's game of Capture the Flag. A strong-willed demigod with something to prove, Annabeth is the daughter of Athena, the goddess of Wisdom — and she doesn't take this heritage lightly. She promises to be a powerful ally for Percy, but the series raises some questions about where Annabeth came from and how she ended up at Camp Half-Blood. Luke briefly explains how he and Annabeth found each other — and the Half-Blood sanctuary — but her life before remains a mystery. Assuming the show follows the Percy Jackson books, Annabeth's father is a Harvard graduate named Frederick Chase, who fell for Athena while he was still in college. The goddess gifted him Annabeth, but the two weren't on the same page when it came to the child. In fact, Frederick initially wanted Athena to take Annabeth back to Olympus with her.

Very much a prompt reply :)
Between us speaking, in my opinion, it is obvious. I would not wish to develop this theme.
