Akiyama lets Arai know that he's got high hopes for him, even going so far as to reveal that the terms of Akiyama's loan to Kanemura was for him to step down so Arai could take over, offering him a stepping stone to bigger and better things. Akiyama gathered as much money as he could during this "ticket to another crack at life". The Shibata under orders from the Tojo, the cops, the Ueno Seiwa. You can talk to several people in Theater Square, including the thugs from the beginning of the game. Returning to the office leads to Akiyama realizing he has to go check on Lily why he couldn't realize this in a location other than his office is anyone's guess. Binary Domain is an excellent 3rd person shooter. You have to escape the cops by running along the rooftops. Head north and speak to the woman near the corner of Taihei and she'll mention she saw them go to Theater Square. More Substories have appeared and you can tackle them at this point.
