Victoria Police have questioned a teenage boy over the AFL nude scandal after explicit images were leaked of a number of footy stars. Cyber crime detectives spoke to a year-old boy on Monday in relation to the scandal dubbed 'dikileaks' involving as many as 45 past and present players. However, at this stage there is insufficient evidence to make charges. Last month, the footy world was rocked after news of the leak emerged, with five Brownlow medallists allegedly included in the file which was widely shared on social media. One past player who was embroiled in the scandal told News Corp that it was 'a gross breach of privacy'. Victoria Police have questioned a year-old teenage boy over the AFL nude leaks. A Google drive containing a list of player names with folders of images purporting to be them was widely shared on social media last month. Brownlow Medallist Jimmy Bartel was among leading names to slam the leak, labelling the person behind it as 'disgusting'. In a statement, Victoria Police confirmed on Thursday that detectives had spoken to a teenage boy with regards 'to a number of explicit images of AFL players being circulated online. A player tangled up in a "grubby" leak of nude photos allegedly involving 45 past and present AFL stars has spoken out against the "gross breach of privacy". The competition was rocked on Wednesday night when it was revealed more than 45 past and present players including Brownlow Medallists were caught up in the leaking of nude images. The AFL immediately launched an investigation into the leaking of the files which have circulated on social media and initially on a Google drive. The Google drive includes files with the players' names which carry the alleged graphic photos and videos, but many are yet to be verified for identification. This is now a police matter, and we will continue to assist as necessary.
