Among the few carnivores on the Island that can match Tyrannosaurs in size, Spinosaurus aquareliga does not match its ferocity. Spinosaurus' four legs and large sail make it fairly swift on land and incredibly fast in the water. Its marvel is, arguably, the ability to change stances by going from quadruped to biped. The creature is visually distinguished by its spectacular sail. In my travels I have seen many different and brightly coloured sails, as every Spinosaurus appears to have a slightly different palette. The one comforting fact about Spinosaurus is that it seems more at home near water than away from it. Although the creature is more powerful, faster, agile, and insatiable while in water, it tends to become less hostile as it gets farther from it. On one occasion, I only escaped a Spinosaurus by getting far enough from its lake home to make it simply lose interest. Spinosaurus is an incredibly well-rounded apex carnivore. Faster than a Tyrannosaurus in water and able to travel on land unlike a Megalodon, its all-terrain versatility may be unrivaled. Although its movement speed is slower in a biped stance, it gains considerable attacking strength and mobility in this form. For hunters who wish to have a well-rounded mount, Spinosaurus may be the ideal choice -- if they can acquire one.

By RipRavage , March 2, in General. I was just curious as to what the pre imprinting stats most of you had on your spinos for taking on the gamma aberration boss. I have HP and Melee on my spinos. I have tamed 15 level and not a single one has had more than HP after taming. The last one I tamed had HP and after gaining 55 levels through Mutton taming it somehow only ended up with HP. This grind for a decent HP spino is killing me.

The Spinosaurus Aquareliga, also known as the Spino carnivore from the early to late Cretaceous time period that has a territorial temperament. Considered to be one of the deadliest creatures around, the Spino is distinguished by its large sail on its back which makes it not only fast on land but in the water as well. Having power equal to that of a Rex and other large creatures, the Spino is a mix of both land and water as it can travel between them with ease and be used in either. These creatures are deadly predators and will attack anything smaller than them on sight, especially humans that it sees swimming or running around. A tamed Spino gives a lot of benefits such as a land and water mount as well as a creature of destruction that can be used against enemies. The Spino is considered an equal match to the Rex as it has the advantage of speed, the ability to change stances and traverse through water quickly. With its natural affinity with water, the Spino is capable of moving at quicker speeds when it is hydrated, making it deadlier to those who oppose it. Considered to be one of the apex predators around, the Spinosaurus becomes very dangerous due to the fact that it can quickly move across land, swim through water and traverse between the two easily.
