Morskie Oko "Sea Eye" is the highest around 35 ha and one of the most recognizible Tatra lakes. We begin our journey on Palenica Białczańska.

Flipping through tv channels

Took us 4 hours including breaks. Great hike, not too difficult. Cassidy Gallagher. Dino Pasquotti. Steady hike on an atv trail up to the top. On the local paid parking we can leave our motorcycle, car or coach. Didn't have time to go any further than Phillips Lake, but the meadow and the lake and the fact that you start in BC and end up in Alberta is pretty cool. I definitely recommend bringing bear spray. On the right side we pass the first TPN info boards, and horse-drawn cabs known as "fasiągi" stop. We saw a cougar run across the trail pretty close to us and it went behind a small ridge on the higher side of the trail. This is the most direct route. Venturing forth by asphalt, we pass the wooden building on the right side, where the legendary Morskie Oko's feud history exhibition is held. Any snow left is avoidable.
