Yesterday the van was driven by my family to PA from NY, total round trip was about miles. This morning when i drove the van, the check engine light and the trac off light were both on. The engine is a bit louder and rougher.

High octane gas just has a higher octane content than regular gas. With all the issues regarding the dash warning lights I would assume there had to be a TSB on the issue. As far as the check engine light, I don't know why that would flash.
